Designed for the renowned Maison Gerard Gallery, this warehouse in Long Island City transforms an existing industrial shell into a refined environment for storing and exhibiting high-end collectible furniture and art.

The project embraces the raw character of the industrial building—its concrete floors, exposed structure, and aged textures—while introducing crisp, precise interventions that create a striking dialogue between old and new. The original concrete floor was ground and polished to reveal its natural aggregate and sheen. Inserted white walls define exhibition zones and offer a clean backdrop for artwork and furniture pieces, turning the warehouse into a hybrid space between storage and gallery.

This balance of rough and refined materials celebrates the building’s industrial heritage while elevating it to an immersive environment where textures, finishes, and contrasts become part of the artistic experience. Hidden within this “Aladdin’s cave” of collectible design, Maison Gerard can host private visits and VIP clients in a setting that is both rawly authentic and elegantly curated.
